Although we were both members of the USCPFA for many years it was not until Leah joined our group in Palm Beach that I had the chance to meet her. Leah was a feisty woman, full of spunk who contributed so much during the early years when it took courage to support the opening up of our relations with China. We remembered the period after WWII when any mention of China had to be prefaced with Red or Communist. I wish I had known her during those early years. Fortunately I had the pleasure of being her friend during her later years. We will all miss her, both as a member of our group and as a good friend.

This is a nice sentiment of yours to do this for your mother. May she live on in your thoughts and through this web site.

There's a Hole in my Ozone
That Protective Layer in the atmosphere
That sits between Me and
All Outside Threats
My Mother Died
